Ah, the “ship”: An integral part of fangirl and fanboy-ing your favorite fandoms. A lot of ships end up happening— Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, for instance— but some ships only happen in our minds, like Harry and Luna Lovegood. But it’s these types of ships that stay with us, the one’s that never came to pass (or at least never got a fair run). As Valentine’s Day approaches, here is an ode to my favorite ships that I needed to happen… but didn’t.
